Yes it will, just like this season. BO will start accumulating on the second Friday, 5/3/19.

JAS votes for Option 2.
ETA: Geezer is down for Option 2. And a prize fund.

I think option 3 would be most interesting. It would keep division A a little more prestigious. I also think it changes the dynamics of the two drafts a little bit which makes each a little more unique. Most people seem ok with options 2 or 3. Lets spice it up a little bit.
A 4th option if I may suggest if there are enough players in favor of a prize fund is to have a prize fund division and a non prize fund division. This would avoid players preferring to play in Division B over Division A because of a larger pool of players contributing to the prize pool. For example if only 3 players in division A enter prize pool vs 9 in division B.

That may not be necessary. So far only UDM has opted out of contributing to a prize fund, though I have yet to hear from everybody. We can worry about the evenness of the prize funds when we get closer to the draft.Aquamann2001 wrote:I think option 3 would be most interesting. It would keep division A a little more prestigious. Sounds good then. Could I sway anyone with my argument for option 3?

I'm okay with a prize fund, but could there be an option to opt out?
It's not destroying. It's making something new.

Well, once you contribute, you're in. If at some point you realize victory will not be yours, then no, you can't opt out. Besides, it's only a few bucks.Screen203 wrote:I'm okay with a prize fund, but could there be an option to opt out?

It's a good argument, Aquamann, I'd agree. Plus one of the flaws of the draft is we can screen-peek and watch each other draft. It may not be much different but by having uneven leagues you may have to do some different drafting - more bold or more conservative depending on when your pick is. That adds a different dynamic.Aquamann2001 wrote:Sounds good then. Could I sway anyone with my argument for option 3?

I was meaning more that it could be there, but it wouldn't be a requirement.Shrykespeare wrote:Well, once you contribute, you're in. No, it's not a requirement. You're either in or not.Screen203 wrote:I was meaning more that it could be there, but it wouldn't be a requirement.Shrykespeare wrote:Well, once you contribute, you're in. I actually think indeed it's an interesting take on option 3, so yes, I'm up for that.Aquamann2001 wrote:Sounds good then. Could I sway anyone with my argument for option 3?

I'm in for the prize fund for whoever opts into it. Also fine for whatever amount.
As far as new players, I like Option 3. Right now, everyone in Div A has earned their way into it or staying there. Should be the same for new people. It makes Div. B harder but I'm OK with that as well (and it's only one extra round really, there's always plenty of TBAs for us to choose from).
(Whatever's decided, I'm not going anywhere. It's been 2-3 years since I've had a Top 3 finish and my work is not done! )

I'm fine with whatever. Let me know where the send the money.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.
Re: Full Year Draft - possible expansion - EVERYONE WEIGH IN
If Aqua has convinced Chien and Walleye to switch to Option 3, we're looking pretty close to evenly split between Options 2/3.
It's clear Option 1 isn't going to win so maybe we figure out definitive structures for both options (e.g. Option 2: 11/11 split, 15/15 rounds, Option 3: 10/12 split, 16/14 rounds) and then have a run-off where everyone has to vote on one?
