I'll take the PG-13 horror starring a popular young actress from a popular TV show on Super Bowl Weekend and hope for the 15/40 of The Roommate. Sony must believe it in, they brought it to CinemaCon, which was unexpected.
Cadaver
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT. I though this was going to go unnoticed and fall to me at the end of the round.

Hot Pursuit was as career-damaging as you can get. There's a reason why her new one is a early September release from Open Road.
Meanwhile, The Big Sick is a toss-up. On one hand, you have great buzz and the director of Hello, My Name is Doris. On the other hand, you have an unproven lead people are bound to confuse with the actor who plays Raj on The Big Bang Theory (in fact, they already do).

It got delayed again (from August to late January) but maybe Bella Thorne (how many of these long-delayed films does she have?) will make one that doesn't die a quick death. And Arnie's son's in it so there will some good publicity close to release.

More Oscar selections, I'll take Amazon's best shot at more nominations this year with You Were Never Really Here. Hopefully it plays well at Cannes and they date it soon.

Yeah, the problem is that the film will be screening just a draft in Cannes, and they have 3 months of sound work to do after, so unlikely to hit cinemas this year.
