Early tracking on Tuesday had Karate Kid pegged at 34M and A-Team at 33M. Both have a similar rating on RT.
Who will win??? Should be an interesting weekend.
On a side note, according to Deadline tracking for Jonah Hex and Knight and Day are completely awful at this point. Not really too much of a surprise there, although I would have figured Knight and Day would have at least respectful numbers.

Re: June 11th Weekend
The A-Team is 25 minutes shorter than The Karate Kid and it's been long said that a kids movie shouldn't approach 90 minutes (The Karate Kid is 140 minutes long) so it looks The A-Team on account of more showings.
And the final nail in the coffin for Jonah Hex: it's PG-13 (found out today while eating lunch from a TV spot shown on the restaurant's TV).

Re: June 11th Weekend
And it looks like The Karate Kid will win the weekend with $40 million while The A-Team will take in $30 million for Number 2. This surprises me since I don't know of anyone who wanted to see The Karate Kid. But also, I hardly ever saw the trailer attached to anything in the theatre.

Re: June 11th Weekend
New estimate: The Karate Kid is estimated at $50 million. But expect some very quick drops once Toy Story opens.
Friday opener numbers:
The Karate Kid $18 million (I didn't even expect $18 million FOR THE WEEK)
The A-Team $10 million
