I thought I'd share with you the first trailer (with english subs !) for THE French blockbuster of 2023. I'm sure some of you have at least seen the 90's Three Musketeers film with Kiefer Sutherland and Charlie Sheen, if you've never read Alexandre Dumas' literary classic.
It is one of France's biggest budget ever, and as every French person, I've read Dumas' book and am really curious to discover such an ambitious adaptation on screen. With a stellar cast that includes Eva Green, Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris and Louis Garrel. There are two films, one opening in April in France and the other in December.

I didn't even know this was in the works but looks epic.
Not familiar with the director's work, though, but curious to see how it will turn out, and if it's better than the animated TV series Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds

It does look epic, yes. I hope it delivers and finds success not only in France but in Europe.
European cinema needs such blockbusters to perform.
I see you know your classics !
