The answer is yes it did start earlier than the printed showtime, although it was only about 7-10 minutes since there were only 7 trailers total (the others were She Said, Devotion and Prey for the Devil)

I just knew someone was going to program the trailers to The Fabelmans and Armageddon Time together. There had to be at least a few people that thought they saw two trailers for the same movie.

It is just called Plane now. Box Office Mojo listed the new title a few days back.

But it could have just been called Untitled Gerard Butler Action Film and his fans still would have gone to see it. His last film, Last Seen Alive, was barely released theatrically but seemingly did very well in post-theatrical markets.
