Hmmm. I want it to be good, but the bombast and reliance on the same old scares (copied a million times) makes this look more like a Conjuring film or It, than the original. We'll see...

Yeah, it looks like an extremely generic possession movie and when you pair it with the reportedly average-to-below-average reactions from test screenings, it's hard to be confident about its quality.

Seeing how much was spent on all stages of this project, this shouldn't look and feel like the Firestarter remake.
