There was an awful indie film called Bitch that I saw at VIFF a few years back with an identical premise, but hardly anyone saw it so I guess the producers of Nightbitch felt safe in recycling the premise with a bigger star. This looks infinitely better, for what it's worth.

This looks like one of those straight-to-VOD movies Uma Thurman's spent the last decade and a half making. If not for the director and star, this wouldn't be getting the early buzz it's been getting.
