Interesting that Netflix let Universal have the 2 attached trailer slots. Maybe that was their way of saying thanks for letting them keep the 2nd window rights to the Illumination/DreamWorks animation titles

Pinocchio didn't have any Netflix inclusions either. The Regal showings had two Disney, two Universal, one Warner Bros., and another one I forget.

Most likely, theatre chains or those in charge of the trailers just pick from the Trail Mix what trailers are recommended. If Netflix doesn't list any suggestions on the projectionist sheet, then it's whatever is on the Trail Mix sheet.

I expected there to be a trailer for The Pale Blue Eye, but one wasn't shown.

I also expected there to be a trailer for Distant, but there wasn't one either. At this point, I have to imagine Distant will probably be put up for sale by Universal, or delayed at the very least.
