Best Music in a Movie (Top 5)
Ok, well, I tried to restart this on the other board, but lets try it here again. I want your top 5 overall film's music so that I can do a "Fantaverse's Favorite" out of it. I'm scrapping the Anchorman one since there are too few people interested in it.

These aren't necessarily my favorites, but they are great ones:
Star Wars (let the first film encompass all please)
Walk the Line (Joaquin Phoenix was just great doing Cash and Reese wasn't too bad either)
Grease (not near a favorite of mine, but really should easily be included)
Reservoir Dogs (the "Stuck in the Middle" scene alone is probably my favorite use of non-original music in a film)
Forrest Gump

I can't think of a Top 5, but Where The Wild Things Are would be in there somewhere....

I need more please... If not I'll have to pick about fifty myself and then I'll hear "but you forgot ______" and I'll say, "No, sir/mam, you forgot it!"

I just never really pay attention to soundtracks in movies.

you may not pay attention to the soundtrack, but it's a huge part of the movie's that you love. Take the soundtrack out of one of your favorite movies for example and, i promise, you wont like it as much.
Re: Best Music in a Movie (Top 5)
Not just the soundtrack, but like in Reservoir Dogs, the "Stuck in the Middle" part is my favorite in any QT film...

Oh I'm sure UDM, but I just don't remember any of them enough to say that I could put together a list. I know that if you take away a film's music it becomes vastly different.
You better put South Park: BLU on the list though W, because what WOULD Brian Boitano do?
