Bumping up for Frendo (since he's considering selling some of his DVD's) and anyone else who wants to sell DVD's. New DVD purchases are still welcome.

Meanwhile, I've gotten a lot of new DVD's recently. On Friday, I got the out of print Peeping Tom Criterion for $3.33.

I seriously have boxes of DVD's that I'm willing to get rid of (most for $5 a pop). If anyone's looking for anything let me know. I'll try to get some out of storage and list them when I get a minute.

Holy hell, I literally was thinking about making a DVD thread earlier today.

I totally forgot I already did it.

And frendo, I'm always in the market for new dvds, if you list them I'm sure I'll want a nice chunk of them.

Not a buy, but I recently traded with a friend of mine.

I got Vicky Christina Barcelona (which they hated apparently) and I gave up Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns (I didn't even know I had it).

I think I got the better end.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona is vastly overrated. One of Woody Allen's worst.

There's a Movie Gallery around here closing so I managed to pick up these DVD's (all from different visits):

The Bank Job (special edition, minus digital copy)
Righteous Kill
Changeling
Frost/Nixon
Meet Bill
Last Chance Harvey (single disc)
Domino
Flash Of Genius
Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny
The Forbidden Kingdom (special edition minus digital copy)
Rocky Balboa
Nobel Son
Cleaner
Transamerica
Waitress
The International
Lakeview Terrace
The Hills Have Eyes (2006, unrated)
The Omen (2006)
W. (this doesn't have the Blu-Ray extras but I expect Oliver Stone to release a director's cut)
What Just Happened
Lucky You
The Grand
Match Point
Elegy
We Own The Night
Surveillance
Knowing
The Great Buck Howard
21
The Hills Have Eyes 2 (unrated)
Trade
Hamlet 2
Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon
The Life Before Her Eyes
Deception
Sleepwalking
King Kong (1933, 2-disc)
Peeping Tom (Criterion)
Rabid
The Visitor
Cemetary Man
Tideland

None over $5.

And from a Blockbuster that closed recently:

Lord Of War (2-disc, corrected version)
The Frighteners (director's cut)
The Monster Squad
Frozen River
The Wackness
Synecdoche, New York
Charlie Bartlett
Alexander Revisited
Factory Girl (Blockbuster Exclusive)
The Devil's Rejects (2-disc)
Fugitive Pieces (Blockbuster Exclusive, only US release)

I wouldn't mind glancing at that list, Frendo.

Recent purchases (all were $3.33):

Bring The Head Of Alfredo Garcia
Kids (I read somewhere that this was out-of-print)
Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid
The Passenger
Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains (Diane Lane as a punk rocker, Donte might love this one)
When Harry Met Sally (Collector's Edition)
Four Weddings and a Funeral (Deluxe Edition)
Ride The High Country (three Peckinpah movies in one purchase)
Going To Pieces: The Rise and Fall Of The Slasher Film (one of the best specials that Starz has done)

Damn, where do you find these stores?

And how do you have so much disposable income?!?!

There is a Movie Gallery closing in the area and all of their DVD's are under $4 (with a 3 for $10 on library titles).

As for disposable income, I usually find ways to get more for less and save money (I rarely have to pay more than $10 for a DVD). That and my family's house is paid off (my father demanded for and got a 15-year mortrage when our house was built, which was completely paid for in early 2007) so we don't have to worry about that. Yes, I still live with my parents.

No shame in that, cause as do I.

I can't imagine continuing to live with my parents, it seems much more a guy thing for some reason. I was out of there as soon as I finished my AA at community college and could transfer to a univerisity at 17.. my older brother hung around at home till he was 24.

I picked up Zack and Miri Make A Porno and Team America:World Police from a Blockbuster that is closing in my area. Hopefully in the coming weeks the remaining movies will be cheaper so I can go back and get even more!

Yeah my brother is 25 and just moved out to his own place.

I'm still in college so I use that as an excuse, plus I'm moving to LA next year so I'll be 23 when I move out.
