Umm... I didn't want to do that. I just wanted you to see that different people think differently.

Percy Jackson is the definite flop. I don't see even a $10 million opening on that one.

Alice In Wonderland's numbers will probably be in between Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Watchmen.

I've one or two suggestions:

Why aren't The Last Station (Jan 15) and Creation (Jan 22) up there? They're two high-profile arthouse movies, vastly more significant than the likes of Waiting for Armageddon or Off and Running. They're not listed on Boxoffice Mojo but I don't see that as reason enough to exclude them, as BOM can be very lax at times (although I believe they've hired a new member of staff and that will lead to better and faster updates).

My other suggestion is that your slate shouldn't be just poster-based. Some posters for later films aren't around, so I have a few slates with blank images and release dates on them, and this can get confusing. I wonder is there any simple way to place the title of the film, in text, at the bottom of each poster?
The Last Station has already opened in limited. That's probably why it's not included in the Jan leagues. Don't know about Creation though.

The Last Station had an Oscar qualifying run, then left after a week. January 15th is its official opening.

mateostarr wrote:Define flop. It's still one of the best choices of the horrible three month span that is Jan-Mar. I think it will do better than the book of eli which looks terrible.
I used to think Jan-Mar was an awful period but last year proved me wrong! There's always a few surprises, and I guess the reason why the FM game prices are low is because it's hard to know what will succeed and what won't. Plus, it's not like summer where there's film making $300+ and films making $1mil, so there needs to be a balance.

I suspect Wolfman will open to something like 20mil tops and not make more that 40-45mil, which I would see as a flop, especailly when we're going to se a lot of other films around that period (Eli, Edge, Tooth Fairy, Valentine's, Shutter Island, etc) making the same or more.

Joined all 6 leagues.

Glad to have the game back. I'm assuming there's no way to delete old leagues still?

How on earth do you turn the site into English? The movies are in English for me but that's about it. I may be Italian but I don't speak it!

If anyone is seeing the website in Italian, you can send an email to Manuela for help. I had the same issue and it was quickly resolved.

I have a question:
do you prefer a movies list defined before the beginning of each league and unchangeable or a movies list updated day after day with new releases also DURING the league?
Shryke, which was the rule in your Fantaverse for late/mid-league additions?

BUT there must be some kind of announcement... And a point where films can't be added anymore, such as after the last weekend of the first month.
