Interesting, I'll probably give it a shot on DVD.BanksIsDaFuture wrote:Tranny, I think if they stay faithful to the books, you'd like it. Especially if you liked Battle Royale (of course, it's nowhere as violent and bloody).

Just watched him again in Lucky Number Slevin. He was awesome, of course.Chienfantome wrote:Tucci's a great actor !!!
I think the first time I ever learned who he was was on a TV show called Murder One in the 90's. After that, I never forgot him, and have grown to really respect him as an actor.

Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 3/9/12
Tucci has been great in good films (Big Night, The Daytrippers, Impostors, The Road to Perdition to name a few), and he always is the one good thing about the so-so or bad films he was in (Shall we dance, The Devil wears Prada, Lovely Bones, Julie and Julia). I love those actors who make bad films but manage to be great in them, and Tucci is one of them. I would prefer him to make only great films, yes, but he's great even in bad films.
And he was great last year in Captain America
And I do read Playboy for its articles............. (yeaaah right does anyone actually believe something like that ?)

you didnt think Mark Wahlberg was great in The Lovely Bones? I can't tell if I think he was better in that, or The Happening. He sure has come a long way as an actor.and he always is the one good thing about the so-so or bad films he was in (Shall we dance, The Devil wears Prada, Lovely Bones, Julie and Julia).
Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 3/9/12
Brokster, please tell me that was sarcasm. Marky Mark was painfully bad in The Lovely Bones

Ah, but who do you prefer though, Chien. Tucci or Elias Koteas? And have they ever been in the same room together. Hmmm, the conspiracy....

Ha ha, do I prefer Tucci or Koteas ? Probably Tucci, but Koteas was in my favourite film ever, so I'll always have a fondness for him

Stanley Tucci was one of my favorite guest stars on Monk (there were a lot of celebrity guest stars). In his episode, he played a method actor that was playing Monk in a movie and he became OCD and pretty much had his own nervous breakdown.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.
