There were a bunch of people being ejected from screenings or refused admission for Paranormal Activity 3 tonight while I was seeing Real Steel. Mostly, it was due to being underage but there were security guards roaming the theatre also so I'm wondering it there was a fight between 14 year old girl gangs or something.

I just got a free ticket for the movie today (bought Sleepy Hollow on DVD, which is one of a few Paramount titles to have a free ticket inside) so I'll probably go to an afternoon show (saw the first in the morning and the second in the afternoon with small crowds, why go to an evening show?).

They'll have to have a forward timeline first. You can't go back even further than 1988 (unless you filmed with 8mm cameras).

I expect the fourth one to feature Katie and Hunter haunting new house owners. Probably a few rich scumbags who stole money from their workers.

Crap. Buscemi reminded me I have a free ticket to any movie at AMC (I think AMC), but it expires the 31st. I'm not going to make it to the theaters before then. You just print it off the computer, so anyone can use it. If you're going to the movies between tomorrow and then, let me know and I'll email it to you after the Cards' game.

EDIT: It's from Moviefone.com

I'm going to see Puss in Boots before the 31st, if the offer's still good. I leave near an AMC (it's right next to the Arizona Cardinals' stadium).

So I was looking at Deadline, and apparently PA3 had a $18.2 Saturday.

And if you take the $26M Friday and take away the $8M midnight gross, you get a $18M Friday....

So apparently PA3 had basically a 0% drop from Friday-to-Saturday, which is unheard of for a horror movie.

Luckily for me, I did not take Paranormal Activity 3 in Bankrupts. I saw The Thing doing less business (was a prequel to a film that grossed just $13 million really a good idea?).

And it dropped 63% this week.

So how many PTA points would it make, totals, if Take Shelter grabbed one more point if those estimates are confirmed ?
