If those predictions hold, I'll be glad I trusted Bad Teacher enough to put it on a few slates.

Great openings for both wide releases, Green Lantern drops 65%, Super 8 has another decent 40% drop. And Popper drops only 33% in it's second weekend. Not a bad weekend overall.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

I thought Bad Teacher would do pretty well, but not this well. Cars 2 did about what I expected. Solid weekend overall money-wise.

Yeah, I had dropped The Names of Love from the few slates I had put it in, for as good as the film is, I felt it wouldn't be one US audiences would be much drawn to. I'm glad I did.

I had Bad Teacher too. Wasn't expecting it to do so well. Should have picked Horrible Bosses for the same price (surely the 4th R-Rated comedy of the summer can't overperform as well!)

I'm rooting for Horrible Bosses. I think it looks pretty good. I'd go see it for Bateman and Spacey alone.
