Holy Fuck I am terrible in the Oct-Dec leagues...I've never been good at them, dating all the way back to 2007 when I started playing this game. Particularly it's the December movies that I'm terrible picking. I've played well this entire year and then I shit it all away in the final round...sigh.

don't feel too bad. i pretty much suck it up the whole year. or, i hang on until the last week or two and then watch someone fly by me in the standings. if only this were science and not art.

That would be ok, but make sure they're radically different pairings for the two tournaments (one ULT, one BO). I was going to try and make it (to the best of my ability) where no one will be able to play the same person in the first couple of rounds if possible.

We do have one spot left too, if you'd like to fill it.

Also, I've got to think of a tiebreaker scenario for both BO and ULT. I can foresee a ton of ties in the Ultimate tournaments considering there are four categories and winning two will result in a tie (most likely PTA + UR, T5 + $), so I was thinking something like the tiebreaker being PTA points + T5 points + UR/2 (or something like that) + Every $20 M = 1 pt (or something like that)...

In BO, (pretty much) the only way to tie is to pick the same slate, so I propose that whoever locks in their full slate in first gets the tiebreaker. They can still change it later, but if it's changed they won't have the tiebreaker anymore unless the other guy chooses their exact slate again.

I've finished the brackets for both tournaments, making sure that no one face the same person in the first two rounds. Let me know if you want me to post it here or did you want to create a new thread for this?
