As IMAX is desperate to fill their screens, Challengers will be getting a one-week run, most likely to very empty auditoriums as the target audience watches Euphoria reruns at home.

Paramount and Skydance are in talks to merge, which would effectively keep Paramount's standing as a major studio while increasing David Ellison's standing as a Hollywood player.

I knew it wasn't going to be Warner Bros. going after them (I actually got downvotes on Reddit for saying that merger wasn't going to happen).

That sounds a lot like Astronaut Wives Club, that one season show that David O. Russell was going to produce before ghosting the project. And seeing how it's from Greg Berlanti, it's probably going to feel like a lame network TV show in film form.

Not sure how the awards shows are going to respond to a horror film that's not from Jordan Peele. It might just be a wide opening right away to fill auditoriums before Christmas titles show up.

In addition, that title has been getting a name change at some point. You can't really display "bitch" on a marquee. Amazon knew a lot of theatres weren't going to book a Channing Tatum movie with pussy in the title so I have to imagine Disney will do the same here.
