So deadline are comparing avatar 2 to Rogue One, which means 500m or so domestic. If true I won't win this. Need the smurfs to perform well across Jan.

There is so little competition for it in the coming weeks, much less than Rogue One had, it's bound to do better. But I'm not sure it'll be enough to win.
Right now I would bet on Tranny. He is well placed, and still has his #2 and #3 films on the horizon, especially Mario which I think will be a big hit.

STANDINGS (up until January 15 included)

Well, it was only a matter of time, and it is now official : Six has taken the lead ! I am overthrown and crying in my corner. The big blue guys have won. Avatar is still far from Top Gun, but behind Top Gun, I only have Nope that really made money on my slate, while Six has Elvis, Bullet Train, and on a smaller level, The Menu. But I still have cards in my pocket, more than you, Six, so this is not over. And Tranny is patiently waiting with Shazam and Mario in his own pocket. The end of the season will be very interesting.
Screen has also jumped up, thanks to M3GAN and Puss in Boots, and is right behind Tranny, and will actually pass by him next weekend. For now.

1. Six - $901,024,241 (5 films - House Party, Avatar 2, Empire of Light, The Menu, The Banshee of Inisherin)
2. Chien - $886,981,058 (1 film - The Whale)
3. Tranny - $730,078,585 (1 film - Black Panther : Wakanda Forever)
4. Screen - $728,363,115 (3 films - M3GAN, Puss in Boots : The Last Wish, The Woman King)
5. Spectre - $665,457,906 (2 films - The Plane, I Wanna Dance With Somebody)
6. Walleye - $612,208,528 (1 film - Strange World)
7. Shryke - $559,756,877 (2 films - Violent Night, The Fabelmans)
8. Ron B - $218,115,925 (2 films - Babylon, Decision to Leave)
9. Buscemi - $128,030,662 (3 films - A Man Called Otto, Women Talking, Tar)

The following films appear to be done :
Devotion (Tranny, 8th round) = $20,364,645
Ticket to Paradise (Walleye, 4th round) = $68,275,985

1/20
Missing (Spectre, WW)
The Son (Buscemi, 12th round)
Alice, Darling (Spectre, WW)

1/27
Distant (Chienfantome, 9th round… hum, no, it won’t get released then)
Infinity Pool (Tranny, WW)

2/3

Write that down in the Waiver Wire thread so Tranny can put that down officially.

Excellent! Nice to be a billionaire. I'm going to buy Twitter just to use it as a platform for my deeply unfunny thoughts.
