Time for a film without a release date that should debut at Venice in September, Aronofsky's The Whale.

Good pick, Chien. Happy to see Brendan Fraser back in front of the camera.

I'm at an airport but not yet on the plane. I'll send someone a list before I board. But hit me up on FB if it's my turn first eh?

Alright. Even though given how late it is in Australia, don't know if Ron will turn up soon.

Proud of you guys for keeping the train moving. We're over 80% done in less than a week. Only bottom of the barrel films are left...

I'll take Poor Things and hope that ol' Yorgos has cooked up another oddball awards player.

I thought about Poor Things but decided that it wouldn't be ready for this awards season. I'm thinking it might delayed to next year.

Is Poor Things going to be a theatrical release? For some reason, I thought it was going to be a Hulu exclusive.

Re: 2022-23 YEARLONG BOX OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
They won't dump a Lanthimos title as streaming-only, especially with the awards success The Favourite had.
The Hulu exclusives mostly seem to be directorial debuts and titles with limited appeal.

Gonna go with my fellow Irishman and take The Banshee of Inisherin - McDonagh's last film made $160m
And then I'll take Next Goal Wins and see if Waititi really is the next golden boy.
