This weekend has been the best news for the box office since No Way Home's opening weekend, or maybe even last Memorial Day weekend.

Despite my mixed (but mostly positive) feelings about the movie itself, The Lost City should have legs. I wouldn't be suprised if it reaches 100 m.

Everything, Everywhere, All At Once's opening is a great sign for the overall health of the box office, too - I am starting to think it could be a mini-breakout in April when it expands wide.

I learned last night that Everything Everywhere All at Once is going to be A24's top OW PTA earner ever-which is nuts considering all the buzzy stuff they've released during their 9 years of their existence. While this can't really be interpreted as a sign that will perform well once it goes wide, they've got to be thrilled with the early results.

The film was insanely well-marketed but Daniels' product can divide audiences. At best, it should play like Swiss Army Man did.
