I believe we threw around the idea of having a 2nd full year league draft that went from January to December to correspond with the calendar year. Is there enough interest to do this? I would be up for it. Maybe in order to differentiate it we can add bonus cash for Oscar nominations. Maybe 50 mil for best picture nomination and 25 mil for major acting or directing nomination.

I'd give it a shot. Not sure if the Oscar bonus makes sense for a Jan-Dec run as most of the movies nominated would have been out already. But something to differentiate it would be good.

Again I think this fits more for the May-April draft, but I'm thinking a Best Picture bonus of 15-25 million might make things more interesting with all the Online movies we're going to get. Once we get to rounds 10-14 do you want to risk a pick on The Irishman - and that it'll get a Best Picture nom and 25 million, or do you want to take a shot on Playing with Fire and see if it gets more. Marriage Story or Parasite? Could be one way of getting some more films in the game and adding some different challenges in the later rounds. I think 25 would be the max amount for me though.

If we can get 8-12 people, I'd be willing to play Shryke's role here with the numbers.

I had a sheet that automatically maintained the numbers based on BOM reporting (with little effort on my part) but since BOM crapped out, I haven't converted it to anything else.

Looks like we have 9 already. I would love to play the shryke role but with a newborn and 2.5 year old I don’t think I’d do a great job keeping up.

I realized after the suggestion that Oscar noms don’t come out until after the calendar year is over. Maybe we can tuck that modification away for the May leagues.
