I'll go for Dry Run and hope it does better business than usual for Todd Haynes.

I only get two weeks on it but it should be good for $30 million.

Gonna go with...

Eve

Action thriller starring Jessica Chastain and directed by Tate Taylor. Sounds strong enough to get a theatrical release.

Who gets first priority on waivers? Is it me because I pick last? Also would you guys be in favor of switching to Faab next year or even this year?

Getting gross now. I guess I’ll go with The Secret Garden. Not really exciting but it’s done and STX showed it at CinemaCon so hopefully it comes out and makes mediocre money. That’s about all you can hope for at this point in the draft.

Nope, you’re dead last because you had the first pick. And normally I’d like FAAB but I think waivers actually makes sense for this league given how much of a disadvantage picking last usually is.

Almost done! I’ll take Wish Dragon. Will it get released stateside? I have no idea... but if it does, it’ll easily be worth a 15th round pick.

I'll go for

The Personal History of David Copperfield

Iarnucci's last film made $8m in the US, and this seems to be a bigger film. I've also no Oscar hopefuls on my slate so this may get an adapted script nom.

Boishh, nice pickup, there ("Escape Room 2"). Somehow I had overlooked that one; I thought it had already been taken. Should do quite nicely for you, especially considering the late Round. In all honesty that would be a decent 10th- or even 9th-Round pick.

Jason Blum reteaming with the creator of The Purge has to be worth something, right?

Okay, hoping it gets scheduled in our time frame, I go with the Untitled Seth Rogen Pickle comedy or whatever the title is for now.
