I'll go with Aladdin. Since it's the first of three live-action Disney movies based on cartoons from the 90s, I'll hope it does well. I almost took Mulan, but I don't want fatigue to get in (or to have it bumped to summer, which would KILL my slate before it starts). Plus, having my 1-2 picks both come in the second to last month of the season just seemed like too big a risk.

God, this better not be another Wrinkle in Time. Am I right in thinking they're going to do the SAME SONGS in this one that they did in the original?
Going to make more than half the films taken before it. Book it. Good call, Shryke.

Thanks, Geez. I'm going to need a few more lucky breaks before I think I have a chance to compete for Top 3, but this eases a lot of worries. I wasn't hopeful that I could pick up the equivalent of Aquaman in the 2nd round this year, but this has a chance to come close.

Just realized that my next four films will be horror or thrillers. Here's hoping one or more of them can break out.
Happy 60th birthday Jet Li! (4/26/23)
