Even if that turns out to be less than 50% of its total (which is kinda where I figured the math would be when choosing at number two) I think Lion King beats it, so still satisfied with the choice. I honestly think The Lion King has an outside chance to be the number one film for nine consecutive weeks.

Yeah... the animation made double what Beauty and the Beast made, and the live action version of that made 500 million dollars. The live action Broadway version of the Lion King has grossed over 1.4 BILLION dollars. It is the most beloved film in Disney's entire catalog. But sure, we'll go with this theory
