He was here earlier. His request for the meatloaf must have gone unanswered.

Chien, your thoughts about "Black Widow" mirror my own, exactly. With one exception: Given that there's a high likelihood that "Widow" will be at least on some level a prequel, I doubt there will be much CGI work needed (unless they need to SERIOUSLY de-age Natasha Romanov), and so I believe the film will rely heavily on practical effects... More "Alias", or "Mission: Impossible", or "John Wick", than your standard effects-heavy superhero film. I may be wrong.

Point is, I think "Black Widow" COULD well be completed and ready for release in late April; but I don't think Disney will, somehow. And, as you say, what sort of opeing-weekend performance are we really expecting, here? $65, $70M, maybe $80M at the EXTREME high end? This would be, at best, an 8th-Round pickup in my view, and a long shot, at that.

...Me counseling sobriety and restraint? The Moon must be off its axis, folks. Nevertheless, I hope the gamble pays off. Makes things interesting, and I do love seeing the risk-acceptant rewarded. :)

OK, i'm going to take Spies in Disguise...

Disney will surely keep it in theaters right?

I came close to drafting "Spies". Hard to see a Will Smith animated adventure doing under $80M, but I just get zero feels off this one.

Pretty confident it will be released before the end of the year, and with its cast and premise, I think this could be great. Ad Astra.

Alright so I just feel like I've played it a bit too safe up until now, even though I've drafted a couple of 2020 films, and the films I was aiming for this round got taken ahead of me, so it's a sign I gotta leave the sequels and spinoffs alone for this round.
I'll draft 1917. A bit sooner than I thought, but hey, it may be too late later.

I was hoping to snag World War I: Fury Road.

I'll guess I'll go with another Disney title, though this could be Murder on the Orient Express or Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.

Artemis Fowl

Going to go with Downton Abbey.

The show is utterly massive and should do really well with the under-valued older audience.
