I'm now taking a gamble. It's a sequel to a reasonably successful film but one that recently changed distributors (from Lionsgate to Sony). With a lack of awards bait in December, it could sneak out there and retain its previous installment's success.

I just read that my last pick, The Foreigner is a "Netflix Blu-Ray" release. Does that mean it won't be put into traditional theaters? And if so, may I be permitted to replace it?

Is that new news Shryke, because STX are listed to release.

I think if it's not 100% confirmed that it's not getting a theatrical release then you shouldn't be allowed change. Otherwise we could all start changing our slates during the draft whenever we wanted.

Not sure what "Netflix Blu Ray" release means, but STX doesn't have any deal with Netflix for their films. If anything, STX may have sold the movie to Netflix, but I don't see that anywhere.

Even so, I agree with Six - that's a replacement that should happen after the draft is over.

Fair enough. Just thought I'd ask.

I hope Shryke didn't go far :D

Also, I wanted The Glass Castle, even if it won't make any waves at the box office.

Okay, screw it. Based on the fuss you all in Division A made, I'm gonna take LAbyrinth.

The Foreigner is most definitely going to theatres. STX has deals with Universal and Showtime and the company was so high on the film that they planned to open it last Thanksgiving (lack of preparation time for marketing killed this plan).

I really don't see those plans changing.
