Rules:
Waivers is a 48 hour period for drops, date changes, and additions to the waiver wire. Waivers start when a film is posted here, The Latest Date Changes thread, and also when a film is dropped by another player.

During this period you can stake your claim for a film on the list, but it is NOT first come, first serve. The highest person on the waiver wire (1 being the highest) that stakes a claim during the 48 hour window gets the film. This in turn, moves them to the bottom of the wire. The first waiver wire is in the reverse order of the first round of the draft.

Anything that passes the 48 hour waiver period is free to be chosen without losing your waiver position

You cannot add or drop any film with a release date within 2 weeks (14 days) of the current date. This rule is only in effect until 1/1/2025.

Indeed and with all the gaps on the calendar this season (particularly from September-April), there could be even more space for quality pickups to emerge.

Really surprised no one drafted The Fire Inside or Homestead. The Fire Inside is going to be promoted heavily during the Olympics while Angel is going to truly go out of their way to make Homestead the next Sound of Freedom, especially since it's set to launch a series that's planned to be their next Chosen.

I almost took Homestead but The Sound of Freedom is their only movie to break out. Everything else has been just north of $10M... which is useful but not at the stage of the season where there are still a ton of higher upside movies to come out. Like that Top 10 list shows, there should be plenty of waiver wire choices this year, especially with how open certain parts of the calendar are.

The Substance, Eleanor the Great, Hellboy: The Crooked Man, My Penguin Friend, Distant and a few Sony Classics titles that I had forgotten about (six's suggestion of Eleanor the Great reminded me that I had forgotten to add their undated titles to the list) have been added to the wire. The others aren't for now as they don't have domestic distribution in place.

I was reading about The Killer's Game and wow, it's had quite a history in getting produced. The original script was sold in 1995 with the name Godforsaken and eleven writers have worked on it during its near-thirty year period of development. Lionsgate is the fifth studio to have been attached to the project and ten directors were either attached or were offered the job of helming.
