With the first pick in the 2021-2022 draft Walleye picks - Black Widow!

What do you say - want to give this a go again? Feels like the world is coming back from the brink. Or close enough to maybe have a bit of fun again. How you all doing? Everyone make it through this awful year?

I think we should wait until theatres are running at full capacity again. It could be mid-summer, it could be Christmas before it's official but it might be sooner than we previously thought.

Can't wait to play this again. I remember this time last year being so dispondant at not having a draft to prep!

I do think we might be tempting fate by starting now since cinemas aren't fully open, and who knows what fresh COVID varients are yet to reach us. Plus release dates are jumping all over the place. But we should starting looking at when might be safe.

Maybe a start later in the summer and finishing next April, so a reduced game with fewer rounds?

Eight rounds might be the way to go. Who knows whether or not some of the theatre chains will continue to relax their "no day-and-date" policies or if they'll get greedy again, much like Cinemark did with Raya and the Last Dragon.

And at some point, I think we has a planet will have to do something about QAnonland and their refusal to grasp what the world is now.

A shorter game that starts later in the summer sounds great. Hopefully we keep trending in a more positive direction with 'Rona so it can happen!

As long as we don't let the Andrelton Simmons and Joey Bada$$'s of the world speak (by the way, I should have included that anecdote about Mr. Bada$$ in my Oscar shorts review over that short he was in).

I can't wait to start this game again either, definitely agree that we should wait for full capacity theaters but it feels like there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Not Godzilla vs. Kong levels but not a total flop either. I'm thinking $35 million four-day.

Yeah 35-40m seems like a safe bet. The good reviews and the anticipation and this being the start of the summer for cinema will all help. Wouldn't be surprised if it crossed $50m, depending on how many theatres open.
