Please email me your lineups in Ultimate and/or Box Office at shrykespeare42@gmail.com, or you can PM them to me here (though I prefer email). Or, you can just post it here.

The usual rules apply... you get $100 to spend, and no more than eight films on your final roster.

If a film (usually a limited-release film) fails to report its income, it will be removed from the game. If that film is on your lineup, you will be notified so you can replace it.

It never began production so I have to imagine it has more than likely been made TBA 2022.

Looks like Turning Red is bypassing theaters entirely.

I'll drop Downton Abbey for The Lost City, even though I'm sure that film is a dog.

Haha, I see what you did there.

What an awful releaase schedule. I guess distro's are still worried about COVID, but surely Spidey has proven that people willl still go to the right thing. So many weeks without a wide release now, or one or two dumps.

Hopefully by May it'll be a bit better and we can start drafting again.

In addition, you see distributors making puzzling decisions with what's going to play theatrically and what's going to premiere on streaming. Why is Disney dumping Turning Red but releasing The Bob's Burgers Movie theatrically? Bob's Burgers' success was almost entirely on streaming when Netflix got the rights years ago. Turning Red feels way more like a theatrical film but seeing the trend with Disney and Pixar titles, I have to wonder if there are some studio politics between them. Luca was dumped onto Disney+ even though trailers played in theatres but Encanto was a theatrical exclusive for the first few weeks. Might Disney be forcing a merger between Disney Animation and Pixar in an attempt to include Pixar characters into the official Disney Animated Canon?

And there's Warner Bros. making Batgirl and Father of the Bride HBO Max titles even though both titles would be decent theatrical performers. Meanwhile, Legion of Superpets feels like something you've randomly watch on HBO Max and instantly forget about. I mean, who actually cares about Krypto and does anyone want to see him in a Secret Life of Pets ripoff?

Agreed. As poor as it was The Matrix 4 should have been a theatrical exclusive and let fan debate drive demand.
