Things that point to ROBDude being a troll:

1. His bizarre comments.
2. Hiding his appearance on the site (so that no one knows he's even on).
3. His stories about him and his imaginary friends.
4. This list (which shows his pure unintelligence of the film medium).
5. The fact that he makes up things on the spot and will outright lie at times.

He gets on nearly everyone's nerves here and even Shryke got mad at him over the fifth thing.

If anything, he makes us look bad and is just one step above being a spammer. I've had to ban him twice due to repeated complaints from other members.

As much as I find Rob to be a troll, I agree with NSpan. We do need new blood so let's not ban anyone unless they're specifically offensive. If we simply don't respond or react unless it deserves a conversation, then he'll either figure out how to communicate with us or naturally back away. I've never been a fan of strict forum policies...

But strict forum policies are better than no forum policies. Without them, people like him (and spammers) will overpopulate the site. There needs to be some rules.

Some rules, but lax ones. Adhering strictly to them just zaps the fun from diversions, oddballs, and surprising conversations. Yes, ban spammers, but that's about it.

I"m not trying to scare anyone off, even the troll... but that is what he is. Even so, i would also agree not to ban him or others.

OK, for the third time, I am not a troll! Infact, I'm gonna be a bit more serious on the future comments i post in this board, Buscemi. I'm not kidding. I'm Not gonna post any bizarre comments. I'm gonna post More serious comments that are good explained. Also, I'm not gonna talk about my imaginary friends at all.

Also, Before we get to top 25, I'm gonna plan my top 25 on a microsoft word document and a very good explanation on why I hate this film before we get to it in the start of September. I'll probably start the document either later today or tomorrow on my Windows Vista.

ROB, is English your first language? Your way with words seem a little...off.

Of course, that would help explain a lot as well.

He's from the South. Grasping the English language is not a top priority there.

I am still willing to give ROB the benefit of the doubt. If he is, in fact, a 15-year-old kid as he says he is, I can forgive a lot of his idiosyncracies. God knows, I wasn't that much different when I was that age... My thought processes were all over the place, my tastes in everything were suspect at best, and my grammar... well, that was actually pretty good. Poor grammar was one thing my mother NEVER stood for. Ever. (For those of you who have read tranny's reviews, I can remember when his grammar, spelling and syntax were much, MUCH worse than they are now. He has gotten so much better over the last year, I can't tell you!)

How about this: from this point on, if ROB sticks to his word and exhibits behavior like a responsible adolescent and not a troll, we will cease maintaining that that's what he is. We will also cease name-calling and base insults (even you, Boosh... needless to say, you've been accused of semi-trollish behavior at times too, but your amazing and outlandish insights far outweigh that, which is why I'm so glad you're here).

Deal?

I completely agree with Shryke on this matter. Give him a chance, but if he maintains the troll-like behavior, ban him.

Okay, I accept. But if he fucks up one more time, he's banned for life.

Congratulations, that's the most most narrow-minded thing you've posted in a long time.

That's fair. You could have put that a little more diplomatically, but so be it.

Now, regarding this thread, ROB, let me know when you would like to start our Top 25 Worst Films list. Having coordinated all of the Top Movies and Top Songs lists in the past, let me know if you want me to do this as well. How it works is that everyone who wants to participate sends me their list of films, along with a brief paragraph about why they hate it and a YouTube link to the trailer or a clip from the film. Then I do one movie per day per person (#25, #24, etc.) until we reach #1.

If we are going to seriously do this, let's agree to a few ground rules:

1. ONLY include movies on your list that you've actually seen in their entirety.
2. If you're going to include a film that is widely regarded as one of the worst of all time (i.e. Gigli, Swept Away, Glitter, etc.), you may, but refer to Rule #1. This is YOUR PERSONAL LIST of the All-Time Worst Films.
3. Use your imagination. It would be so easy to fill the list with pointless sequels like Saw VI or Friday the 13th Part IX or whatever.
4. Show no fear. If you want to include films that many people consider to be outstanding or "classic", do so. Just be prepared to defend your opinion with something more lucid than "it sucked" or "it was boring".

How does mid-September sound to start this thing off? (And if I'm doing this, I will start a new thread for it.)
