Re: 2024-25 Yearlong Box Office League Waiver Wire
I'll drop Power Ballad. I've got to hang on to my Strangers trilogy

Re: 2024-25 Full Year Slates
Interesting analysis on the slates from above. I thought this was a tough year to draft. Still feeling the effects of the strike made for a very top heavy draft - with lots of movies falling into the iffy-zone. (It's like the friend-zone, only worse.) Still, I like my first three picks and I'm banki...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
I will take the almost literally just announced Power Ballad. If and when it ever comes out - I'm at least personally excited for that one. Love the director, so he'll get my money. Which is more than I can say for about half my slate

Ahh you guys left it for me so you know I'm taking The Strangers Pt 3! Now I've got the complete set!

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
My apologies gentlemen, I checked before I went to bed last night and didn't see that post from Banks. My bad.
And I wish I had something more interesting to choose but alas I don't. So I'll pick The Strangers: Chapter 2. Just as much hype for these as for Costner's Horizon movies I'm sure.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Whew I really don't know what to pick then. I'll Choose The Strangers pt 1? Maybe I can corner the market on all the bad horror movies in May

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
I'll take Bridget Jones: Mad about the boy. The last one didn't do great - but maybe this will have a little more pull.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Wow - ya'll were busy while I was sleeping. Very kind to give me Tarot. When it surprises and makes 22 million worldwide instead of 17 million you'll all be jealous! I didn't even know half of these movies existed until they got picked. And here I thought I was clever for getting Eden. Give me a min...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
To get the groups opinion - It's Thursday night and I'm good taking Tarot - but it's not my turn yet. I just figure we're gonna run out of movies and so I'm cool taking this crappy looking horror as one of mine. Or i'm fine letting it slide into the oblivion.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
You do realize Anyone but You was a surprise hit. And Ana de Armas was the best thing in all four of her last movies?

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Kind of my thoughts exactly. I figure it's 50/50 on theatrical release but if it does - that cast wearing bikinis on an island has to draw an audience.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Chien you stole both my movies in the span of a few picks! At this stage of the draft I think those are both winners.
So I'll pivot and choose Eden. Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas. Need I say more? Just hoping it gets a theatrical release.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Well, I was debating between a few and they're actually all still there. Which makes me think they might all be bad
But I'll take Novocaine. The story behind the company making the movie intrigues me. Maybe they'll get it right.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Suddenly I feel like all I'm looking at are movies that might make 40 million. Big drop off this year, imo.
I'll take Paddington in Peru. The first two were well loved, so let's hope this one gets a few families out to the movies.
