Nickel Boys is almost certainly premiering at Telluride. The NYFF announcement contained no special designations beyond Opening Night Film, which indicates its premiering in the US and Amazon has debuted a film there in each of the past 3 years (Cyrano, Women Talking, Saltburn).

Possibly, but its premise is far more streamlined, there's no period elements and Amazon has already thrown more marketing muscle behind it than Sony/Apple did for Fly Me to the Moon.
