Re: A Return to the Reel

I'm gonna bogart this thread for my OWN "hey, I'm back" post. Shryke sent me a message last week to remind me the forum still exists, and invited me back any time. He checked and I hadn't logged on since... 2011! Well, since then a lot has happened. I got a law degree and passed the bar (good). Don'...

Re: The NFL Thread

Well, the Jets agree with Buscemi, so they signed Drew Stanton to push Sanchez!

Or, I mean, "push"

Syracuse without Fab Melo? Yeah, see ya later. I doubt they make the Final Four.

Re: 5 Years...ah the memories

I had the first pick in that draft. It was a league with my then-coworkers. I was torn between Museum and Charlotte's Web. Good thing I didn't pick the latter.

Re: 5 Years...ah the memories

My first draft pick was Night at the Museum. I named my studio "The 4ast and the 4urious." Who would have thought that movie would actually exist just a few years later...

Not the biggest Kimmel fan, but he comes up with some good stuff for the post-Oscars show every year.

I've 'watched' Whitney the past two weeks. By 'watched' I mean I left the TV on whilst I ran the dishwasher or did laundry during the half hour between when The Office ends and Always Sunny begins. Perhaps there are a bunch more like me that kind of artificially boost Whitney's numbers.

I don't think kids will really care who did the score -- and probably most adults who see the film won't, either. That said, I too would rather it be Giacchino -- loved his work on The Incredibles but haven't really been wowed by him since.

Well, maybe they screwed around with Sarah Silverman's show because it wasn't funny. Same with Demetri Martin. I wouldn't say that Tosh.0 is unquestionably hilarious, but I think their decision to keep it is, as W said, more about viewers and less about catering to whatever image they think they hav...

Re: The NFL Thread

I needed 22 combined points from Mike Williams and Dallas Clark to go 3-0 this week. I ended up losing by 10... with Beanie Wells riding my bench because he was 'questionable' and 'a game time decision'. WEAK. That said, a 2-1 week is fine by me. Lucked into some of it though... like one guy I playe...

He's exactly the kind of guy you love when he's on your team, but hate when he's on someone else's team. Just seems arrogant to me.

Then again, my team of choice features Nyjer Morgan, so you can spin that argument right back at me. Ha.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the game this season where Matthew Stafford's shoulder falls off. Which sucks, because I've been benefitting from him, fantasy football wise.

Yeah, you've got to think $100 million for a summer release is the bare bones of what they were hoping for.
