Re: Movies the Critics Got Wrong
Let's look at a sci-fi classic in Predator: http://www.metacritic.com/movie/predator Despite getting a positive review from none other than Roger Ebert, the general Metacritic rating (collected from archival reviews) is a 36 with most reviews being mixed-to-negative. Does Metacritic accurately port...

Well, finally! I've been championing that movie since I went to see it on opening day and the only people in the theater were me and my friends.Chienfantome wrote:I've discovered Hot Rod a couple of weeks ago and it was hilarious indeed.transformers2 wrote:Hot Rod

Haha. Believe me, I thought I'd love it, too. The trailer looked like something right up my alley.Chienfantome wrote:That was a good move. NSpan just knows nothing.Buscemi wrote:Cooties was another movie I recommended to NSpan. To quote Vincent Gambini, "You win some, you lose some".

Cooties - 2/10
This isn't even enjoyable in a "bad horror movie" kind of way. Nearly every joke falls flat. In spite of a decent cast (Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBrayer, Nasim Pedrad), this movie just has nothing to offer anyone. SKIP IT.

Re: Rate That Movie Part IV: Movies Never Sleep
I never saw a trailer for " Room ," and I (somehow) managed to never really hear anything ABOUT it, either. Other than accolades, of course. So I basically went into it blind. In high school, I was on the wrestling team. Each weight class had only 5 pounds before the next. If you didn't make weight ...

I can't recommend Fargo enough. I actually enjoyed the second season more than the first, though some might disagree on this particular point. Either way, both are incredible. And though the stories are connected, you could watch the seasons in whichever order you choose. It's one of the best TV dra...

Bone Tomahawk: 5/10 With a name like that I was expecting something much pulpier, trashier, and shorter. But this Western about some townsmen hunting down a clan of evil Indians to rescue the abducted outstays its welcome by building characters but not really doing much. It gets incredibly gruesome...
