Re: Screening The Releases - May 3rd
I was hot on Fall Guy up until recently. I figured the Barbie factor would make it a hit. But no on seems to care. Still thinking a 40m opening, but a sharp decline that may make it fall guy short of 100m

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
And both films are very sensible picks at this stage. Dog Man, however, is in prep so probably won't make its Jan date, but could still come out for this season, and if it does, it could be a solid little earner. Terrifier 3 is a good pick. Eden is pretty, pretty risky, and could have been held off ...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
I don't think you can blame Sweeney on the failure of Madame Web. That film was destined to fail to moment that trailer came out. It's on the film-makers and, perhaps, the deadpan performance of Dakota Johnson. If Sweeney was in the lead that may have helped a little, who knows. It's true she can't ...

In the Grey
Because January loves a good action film, usually with Statham in it
And
Blitz
Because it's an early Oscar favorite and guaranteed a theatrical release. I hope

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Some interesting picks the last round or two. I think The Wild Robot could be a big hit. May not open huge, but will hold and hold across Sept and October. The Horizons are huge risks, but given the popularity of Yellowstone I think the first one, at least, will actually be a surprise hit. It Ends W...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Sorry man, I blew it. I honestly didn't even think to look at my email last night. I won't repeat this mistake again if you require my services later in the draft. No problems, dude, hope it's okay if I send you a list before I hit the sack either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how the draft goe...

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
I was originally going to pick Borderlands over Wolfs, so it's a good choice regardless. I think I panicked because of its proximity to Deadpool & Wolverine

Hey guys I emailed my list to Tranny but I guess he didn't see it?
Anyway. My picks are...
Wolfs
And
Michael
First one is Pitt and Clooney, so should do solid numbers.
Latter is a risk, but could do Elvis numbers.

Obviously, Six paid someone in Hollywood to diss Red One just to piss me off the day after I drafted it.

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Woah, that's a major surprise. I have a gut feeling this film will do well, but what a ballsy move to take it at this point.
Then again, we've an insane Frenchman who thinks it's okay to draft Red One in Round Two, so anything goes at this point.
Next Banks will be taking I Saw the TV Glow

Re: 2024-25 YEARLONG BOX-OFFICE DRAFT LEAGUE
Sorry guys. I went to bed really early to catch up on sleep. Going to pick.. Snow White And Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes The latter is a relatively safe bet, and even with all the complaints and anti-woke whining, The Little Mermaid still delivered solid numbers. So Snow White should do fine
