It depends. Even now, we have a few draft positions yet to be determined, a couple of races that may go down to the wire. I figure we can start it either on April 30 (when the final weekend's estimates are announced) or, if we need the final FINAL numbers to be placed, we can start it on Monday, May 1.Aquamann2001 wrote:Are we looking at next Sunday for the start date for the draft?

Re: 2016-17 Full-Year Slates (Division A)
Since this is a frequently-viewed thread, I want to put a query out (to both Division threads):
Would anyone like to join the monthly pricing panel? There was a time when we had 8-10 people contributing, but in recent months that number has dwindled to five people: myself, Six, Chien, bestfilm, and Jas.
If anyone else would like to volunteer maybe 30-60 minutes a month to this, it's quite simple - you come up with a dollar value for every film listed for the next three months, in both Ultimate and Box Office. Before I announce the final pricing schemes, I average the numbers that everyone has sent in. (I used to eliminate the high and low amounts and average the rest, but that was when we had a lot more people.)
Any volunteers?

He's actually back doing Bloom County again on Facebook, but it's a far cry from what it used to be. There's a lot to be said for quitting while you're still at your peak and leaving people wanting more, like Bill Watterson did.Walleye413 wrote:Ah how I miss Bloom County. Between that and Calvin and Hobbes all of life's lessons were perfectly explained.

I see geezers tanking strategy. Every other year he gets first pick then picks Star Wars and gets the win. Maybe not quite 900 mil this time but lock him in for 750 mil already.

I'd be happy picking #9 alongside of you Shryke. Then we can have a side bet on whose slate ends up doing better

Alright alright alright !!
I'm glad I saved my ass this year, there was a time when I really thought this was the end of Division A for me. Thank you Hidden Figures.

If my pick position is the only thing left undecided before starting the draft; I am willing to let six choose 7 or 8. I don't care either way. Let's get this party started.

It's not the only thing. There's still one other race for position that's too close to call right now.Aquamann2001 wrote:If my pick position is the only thing left undecided before starting the draft; I am willing to let six choose 7 or 8. I don't care either way. Let's get this party started.

Problem is we need to have the B league order sorted out too so that we don't have one group drafting ahead of the other.Aquamann2001 wrote:If my pick position is the only thing left undecided before starting the draft; I am willing to let six choose 7 or 8.
