thanks for the props surfer, but shryke's slate looks quite formidable as well, especially if lorax over-performs. in fact, the slates you and shryke have put together in most of the box office leagues look frightening for all opponents. but, i guess head-to-head is what really matters, here. though, bragging rights are always nice...and since i've never really had any, here's hoping.

Sorry about the absense guys. Personal and professional turmoil is going to have me out of the loop for a while. Good luck to all and, again, my apologies for not being able to contribute.

Shryke, you've put together one hell of a slate against me...I'm not out of it yet, but you've put the pressure on. Geez, you better hope American Pie and 21 Jump Street kill it!

BTW, these one on one tourney's are fun, I hope we keep doing them.

If you guys like them enough, we could start a new one every six months instead of a year. At the very least half of us will only watching by then, so it would make sense.

Am I right in thinking there are four rounds to the tournament? With each one lasting three months, so the winner will be decided at the end of the year? So if we have a new tournament begin every 6 months we will have two games running simultaneously? I'm okay with that, btw, just trying to clarify.

Yeah, but after six months there will only be four players left in each tournament so starting a second one then would make sense if most people want to do it that way.

It will be interesting to see who comes out top in the BO league. I had a very strong start and thought my tie all but over, but having chose not to go with The Lorax, six may be back in it. Have to hope that my combination of Safe House, Chronicle and The Woman In Black beat the animated monster...

In regards to the Ultimate league, I think my slate is pretty much unbeatable now. I almost feel sorry for Red Raider. Almost...

Redraider expects to beat me...without The Hunger Games?

yeah, i hope failing to pick Lorax doesn't come back to haunt me as well. it's already going to screw me in some of my march box office leagues.
