I'm having the same problems and have already notified Barca. He said he'd work on it.

That happens with me as well. At least I have a browser where I just have to click one button to log into various sites.

becs wrote:How hard is it to get into paint or whatever app you have and type in the number of pixels the avatar is limited to :P. Personally, I think the avatars on the old forum were way too obtrusive, they took up as much space as the actual conversation. There should be a happy medium tho, they are pretty damned tiny now, I can't figure out what the UDMs is.

NSpan is right, but i call it Bearktopuss and no SS it's not from At World's End, and yes the movie is not as good as Curse of the Black Pearl, but i still find it very entertaining

OK guys.. i'll increase the avatar sizes soon.

Also, as for the quick reply and mulit-quote, I have already told David about that, it's just that he needs to install something to the server before we can use it, so he will do that when he has the time.

Chat is something we can't have on this forum, will probably have a page for it on the website though, we'll see when the time comes.

Ranks will be up soon (i'm a little busy right now, when I get some free time i'll do them).

Post counts have been done and are accurate as far as I know, if I have made a mistake please tell me so.

Avatar settings have been changed. People can now retry, there is still a size limit, but it is now 240x240, it takes about 2 seconds to resize an image in Paint or Gimp.

Thanks for helping out Barca!

Just another note: I'm having trouble posting Youtube vids. I try the code that Youtube provide you with, but it doesn't seem to work. Is video embedding not possible here?

Any way that you can make one of the read/haven't read things on the side of the page a little darker? It's hard for me to differentiate between extremely light pink and extremely light blue sometimes. I don't know if anyone else has trouble with it. If not, I'll just deal with it.

yeah, finding new posts is a bit more arduous on the new forum... i like a giant annoying red icon telling me which threads have new posts since my last visit..

also, my auto-login doesn't seem to last very long at all

i can see it, but i also wouldnt mind there being a little bit bigger of a difference. I must say though, the blue is a lot better than the gray on the last forum

I did think the same thing, W. I mean, I can tell if I look for like a second, but why make it more difficult than it has to be?

Yeah, I sometimes have to tilt my computer (laptop) to be able to tell the difference. And for some reason I actually like the gray of the old forum... Fond memories of three days ago.

I just realized that 240x240 is extremely large, but I don't have time to change it now and tomorrow is very solid in terms of things to do. I didn't realize it would cover some of the post if the page isn't max size. I guess I'll just delete my cheese helmet until tomorrow night.
