Lol at playing The Black Phone and Minions trailers back-to-back, I wouldn't exactly call the plot of the former family friendly.

It was definitely among the most jarring trailer transitions I've ever experienced. For a second, I thought The Black Phone and Nope would be the attached trailers, but sure enough those little one-eyed yellow guys came on the screen the minute the preview of Ethan Hawke's serial abductor/ killer hijinks was complete.

I remember IMDb had Barbarian listed as August 12th at one point. AMC (I'm guessing, as they do their own release date tags) likely used that as their source.

Yeah. It's either that or Disney initially had it scheduled for the 12th and just failed to update the date on the theatrical version of the trailer (the online version says the 31st).
