Rules:
Waivers is a 48 hour period for drops, date changes, and additions to the waiver wire. Waivers start when a film is posted here, the Division B full year draft league, The Latest Date Changes thread, and also when a film is dropped by another player.

During this period you can stake your claim for a film on the list, but it is NOT first come, first serve. The highest person on the waiver wire (1 being the highest) that stakes a claim during the 48 hour window gets the film. This in turn, moves them to the bottom of the wire. The first waiver wire is in the reverse order of the first round of the draft.

Anything that passes the 48 hour waiver period is free to be chosen without losing your waiver position

You cannot add or drop any film with a release date within 2 weeks (14 days) of the current date. This rule is only in effect until 1/1/2019.

Combing through the films that were drafted in Division A but not B, I'm finding:

Kursk
The War With Grandpa
Spaceship/Beyond the Sky/Untitled Disneytoon
The Man Who Killed Don Quixote
Missing Link
Hotel Mumbai
Destroyer (N. Kidman)
Happy 60th birthday Jet Li! (4/26/23)

Destroyer and Missing Link were selected by W and weissac respectively
Hotel Mumbai and The War with Grandpa are 2 films of being held hostage in The Weinstein Company bankruptcy situation, so it's likely they won't see the light of day anytime soon.
Just added Kursk and the Untitled Disney Animated Aviation movie to the list

The War with Grandpa was recently returned to its producer while Hotel Mumbai's producers are fighting to regain its rights.

The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is also tied up in legal issues.

Meanwhile, Gotti is set to open wide on June 15th. And Fox might surprise us and place Stuber (the Kumail Nanjiani/Dave Bautista comedy that was originally set up for John Cena) in the spring. It's currently casting.

Surprised Hotel Mumbai and War With Grandpa were drafted, while The Upside was not. It seems to have much more earning potential than the first two, and they're all still tied up in TWC's clusterfuck.

The Upside didn't get very good reviews out of Toronto and you haven't seen people attached to that film going up to bat for it. Same with The Current War.

Boss Level
The Highwaymen
The House That Jack Built
A Rainy Day In New York
Roma

Billionaire Boys Club
Changeland

Escape Plan 2 is going straight-to-DVD next month so do not place it on the wire.

Surfer's side girl's new movie opens August 24th. I just know you're going to make a bid for it.

Dropping my 9th Round pick, "The Hustle" (6/29/18) and adding "A.X.L.", disappointingly neither a film about the G 'n' R singer or the eldest Heck (8/24/18).

Nico.
I remain, as always.
