So there's a Secret Life of Walter Mitty rolling in US cinemas ? I had heard great things about the film after Cinemacon last spring, anyone saw the trailer ? It doesn't seem to be online yet.

The trailer was submitted recently but I didn't think it would be out until The Smurfs 2 (edit: the trailer premiered with The Wolverine).

Anyway, I see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty being one of the flops of the Christmas season. Hardly anyone remembers the Danny Kaye version of the story and Stiller's last movie was a disaster. Also, Fox has the more kid-friendly Walking with Dinosaurs opening five days earlier.

Bt this isn't a kid movie, not the slightest, apparently. The reel shown at Cinemacon got rave reviews and I think this is gonna be the adult dramedy of Christmas and could hit the jackpot.

I've read a lot about the trailer, apparently it's dialogue-free and very Benjamin Button/Where The Wild Things Are vibe to it.

The trailer is out, I didn't see the full thing because I came into The Wolverine late but the last joke of the trailer was good.
