Trailers before Mary Poppins Returns:
Some Christian film I can't remember the name of about a kid who survived being trapped under ice
Dumbo (Tim Burton directing is the only reason I'm interested in this)
Lion King (I will see this only for nostalgia's sake)
A Dog's Way Home (I just saw the whole movie in this trailer. No need to go see it now)
Trailers before Holmes and Watson (these were odd choices):
Escape Room (I'm mildly interested enough to rent this)
Happy Death Day 2U (Little interest. If it's between this or Alita: Battle Angel, I'll choose Alita)
Aladdin (Kind of odd this didn't play with Mary Poppins)
Men in Black International (Makes sense. Sony movie. Most likely attached. Looks great)
Trailers before Bumblebee
Wonder Park (Looks really stupid)
What Men Want (If this were gender swapped the feminists would be outraged)
Five Feet Apart (Fault in Our Stars again, basically)
How to Train Your Dragon 3 (amazing)

Trailers before Vice:
On the Basis of Sex (Mild chatter from the audience, looks great)
The Upside (Very good reaction from the audience, positive chatter afterwards. It looks good)
Breakthrough (Mixed reaction, looks bad, although I'm not really the target audience)
Men in Black: International (brief small laughs, looks okay)
Us( Great reception, looks great.)
What Men Want (They played the green-band trailer, unfortunately. Looks good and got good reception from the audience)
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (No reaction, wrong audience)
Fighting With my Family (Looks awful. Got a good reception from the audience, however)
Where'd You Go, Bernadette (Looks good, no real reception from the audience)

Re: The Trailers Shown Before Other Movies Thread
If you want wrong audience, look no further than Sony foolishly placing Overcomer with Spider-Man. Not sure why they couldn't get a teaser for Far from Home ready. Hell, Stan & Ollie would have been a better choice and that might not even go wide.
It's like what Lenin said...I am the walrus.
Re: The Trailers Shown Before Other Movies Thread
I was suprised by that too. I'm not sure if Disney wants the trailer for Spider-Man: Far from Home relased until Avengers: Endgame comes out.Buscemi2 wrote:If you want wrong audience, look no further than Sony foolishly placing Overcomer with Spider-Man. I expected Men in Black: International to be with Spider-Verse.
And at least Us has the prestige of Jordan Peele and Men In Black: International has Liam Neeson. It's strange that Godzilla is being placed on adult-skewing movies, although I remember Kong: Skull Island being mostly with films aimed at older audiences.
It's not destroying. It's making something new.

There was a Far From Home trailer rated and ready a week before Spider-Verse came out. They just suddenly decided not to release it.
Re: The Trailers Shown Before Other Movies Thread
I thought this was because Sony relased the trailer for BrightBurn instead at that panel.StarLord123 wrote:https://trailer-track.com/2018/12/06/in ... ssion=trueBuscemi2 wrote:If you want wrong audience, look no further than Sony foolishly placing Overcomer with Spider-Man. Re: The Trailers Shown Before Other Movies Thread
Yes, but the FFH trailer was still due to release with Spider-Verse that week, until they suddenly pulled it.Screen203 wrote:I thought this was because Sony relased the trailer for BrightBurn instead at that panel.StarLord123 wrote:https://trailer-track.com/2018/12/06/in ... ssion=trueBuscemi2 wrote:If you want wrong audience, look no further than Sony foolishly placing Overcomer with Spider-Man. Re: The Trailers Shown Before Other Movies Thread
I assume that Disney didn't approve of the trailer for whatever reason.
