Seeing everyone's lists makes me happy that I only go to the Alamo, since they have a limit of 4 trailers (sometime 5 for big movies).

Between the 7-8 trailers and now commercials mixed in (like I had with Knives Out, which I saw at a Cinemark), I don't think I'd go to the movies nearly as much. Or I guess I'd just show up 30 minutes after the showtime and miss all the trailers.

Eh, having a ton of trailers in front of a movie doesn't really bother me. Hell, I actually find it kind of comforting because I know have a 20-25 minute buffer if I'm running late

Regal's doing this too.

Personally, my issue with Alamo is that they show the same trailers over and over. Who knows how many times I've seen the Dolittle trailer in the past few months.

Regal now isn't even starting the trailers until about 10 minutes after the listed time, in addition to sandwiching 1 or 2 commercials towards the end of the trailers. Meaning the movie doesn't begin until 35 or so minutes after the showtime. I generally like watching trailers in theaters if they're good, but starting the movie that late is too much. Now when I go to Regal I can enter the auditorium 10 minutes after showtime and the trailers are barely starting. Harkins on the other hand shows only 5-6 trailers right at showtime vs 8-9 at Regal, but their trailer selection is sometimes inferior to Regal.
