I've read most theatres have Inherent Vice as the attached trailer to Interstellar (or at least that's the case with the 35mm and 70mm versions). Kind of unusual for a Paramount film to have a Warner Bros. trailer as an attachment (I was expecting Top Five and/or The Gambler).

Star Wars Episode VII's trailer will premiere in only nine theatres spread across nine markets (Los Angeles, San Diego, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Knoxville, Houston and Seattle) on Friday. The movie that will have the trailer has not been confirmed yet (I'm guessing it's Mockingjay Part 1 or Interstellar, based on the Union Square 14's listings).

Get those camera phones ready.

Edit: a few hours after the initial announcement, more markets have been added while a few of the previously announced markets have added more theatres.

The trailer will have a general release in December (possibly with Exodus or the last Hobbit).

Trailers before The Theory of Everything

Foxcatcher
Whiplash
The Homesman

Prints of this have Blackhat and Unbroken as the attached trailers but these were not run as the theatre I went only runs trailers to movies they are set to book.

Trailers before Whiplash:

Dear White People (which is already playing at this theater)
The Homesman

Only thing I dislike about owner-run art houses is that they don't seem to put a lot of care into trailer rings.
