Before Boondock Saints 2:

Edge Of Darkness
The Book Of Eli

I think The Book Of Eli looks really good. I am unsure about Edge Of Darkness but it is kind of nice to see crazy-ass Mel Gibson back to acting.

Before 2012, here are some trailers you can expect:

Grown-Ups (looks pretty funny)
Salt
Kick-Ass
Prince of Persia
Shutter Island (please make it stop)
Did You Hear About The Morgans?
Invictus
The Wolfman
And maybe, Extraordinary Measures
Alexandra Daddario: Eyes of a Demon, Face of My Future Ex-Wife

Trailers shown before The Men Who Stare At Goats:

The Crazies
Did You Hear About The Morgans?
Brothers
Up In The Air
Edge Of Darkness

I expected a trailer for Brooklyn's Finest (Overture picked up the film from Senator back in September for $2 million) but there wasn't a trailer. It will probably show up with the December/January releases (such as Armored, Brothers, Sherlock Holmes, The Book Of Eli and Legion).

Trailers shown before The Blind Side:

Avatar
Up In The Air
Grown Ups
Valentine's Day
It's Complicated (new trailer)
Invictus

Grown Ups looks entertaining. The best part of the teaser involves Rob Schneider and his "wife".

The new It's Complicated is similar to the old trailer but with more Steve Martin this time. Also, we get a hilarious bit involving Alec Baldwin's penis and a webcam.

Invictus should be an entertaining film from director Clint Eastwood. It's a bit strange to be seeing him direct a rugby film but hey, it's Eastwood. It can't suck.

Clint's done historical films, biopics, and sports dramas before, so I don't think this is a stretch at all.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

Trailers shown before Fantastic Mr. Fox

Despicable Me
Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel (new trailer)
Tooth Fairy
Alice In Wonderland

The Squeakuel looks dumb but those Chipmunks are so damn cute!

Trailers before Everybody's Fine:

It's Complicated
The Lovely Bones
Valentine's Day
Crazy Heart
Extraordinary Measures
When In Rome (attached trailer)

Crazy Heart reminds me of The Wrestler in terms of the trailer (retired artist returns to action to prove himself once again) but it will probably get snubbed by the Academy.

Extraordinary Measures looks really good. It will probably get ignored in the onslaught of January releases.

Trailers before Boondock Saints II:

The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus (attached trailer)
The Wolfman (different trailer than before, mostly different footage)
A Nightmare On Elm Street

The US trailer for The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus is almost exactly like the UK trailer that was posted on the old site, but the main difference being different critical blurbs. Looks like Sony is doing a half-assed marketing campaign with this one (they also didn't release a poster until last month).

Trailers shown before The Princess and The Frog:

The Last Song (starring Miley Cyrus as the least convincing New Yorker ever)
The Spy Next Door
Oceans
Cats and Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore (did we really need a sequel to Cats and Dogs?)
Toy Story 3
How To Train Your Dragon
Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel

That was probably the biggest set of trailers I had seen in a long time.

Trailers before Avatar in 3-D:

Knight and Day (looks ridiculous, however we see Tom Cruise in a shot that reminded me of Rain Man)
Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief (looks bad and it seems that most of the audience agreed)
Clash Of The Titans (it's better than the teaser but shouldn't they have gotten a director that actually respects Harryhausen, like Robert Rodriguez?)
Alice In Wonderland (new trailer in 3-D, looks more like Johnny Depp Goes Emo Again than anything)
Shrek Forever After (this got the best reaction from the audience, especially when they show fat Puss In Boots)

No Iron Man 2 trailer here (they must be saving it for Sherlock Holmes). I also expected to see trailers for Hot Tub Time Machine and How To Train Your Dragon.

Trailers before MY Avatar 3-D

Knight and Day (God, this looks dumb)
Percy Jackson
Clash of the Titans
Alice in Wonderland
Shrek Forever After
Legion
Despicable Me (this was effing puzzling as it had NOTHING to do with the previous trailers, just some dumb animated characters giggling over those novelty tins that make a cow's noise when you flip it over and then right-side-up again)
Happy 60th birthday Jet Li! (4/26/23)

Yeah, Iron Man 2 won't be in theater until Sherlock Holmes. And who knows when Hot Tub Time Machine will be in theaters - the teaser was Internet only so...

I can't believe I'm the only one who thinks Knight & Day looks good. It's like a less sexier but brighter Mr. And Mrs. Smith. For a bad rom-com, look at the trailers for The Bounty Hunter and The Back-Up Plan. Dear God, those are awful.

I can't believe The Back-Up Plan is going to theatres. It sounds so straight-to-video on paper.

Meanwhile, trailers shown before Precious:

Salt (looks entertaining, glad to see Chiwetel Ejiofor in a new movie and Phillip Noyce directing again)
Leap Year (looks like every other romantic comedy ever made)
It's Complicated

I also expected to see From Paris With Love, Kick-Ass and Why Did I Get Married Too trailers but there were no attached trailers.

Why Did I Get Married Too was the attached trailer for Precious, I don't know why your theater didn't play it. Unless they got a used print and the other theater kept the trailer. Which makes sense.

In front of Sherlock Holmes:

Cop Out
The Bounty Hunter
Hot Tub Time Machine
Clash of the Titans
Inception (great trailer, though I still can't tell what the movie's about)
Happy 60th birthday Jet Li! (4/26/23)
