Trailers before my interrupted showing of Us -

These trailers were played with people constantly moving seats - this theater just got reserved seating

Pet Sematary
The Best Of Enemies
John Wick: Chapter Three - Parabellum
Booksmart (Red-band preview, not sure why AMC didn't play it after the attached previews as they had done in the past)
Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood (also red band, sound starts crackling in and out during the trailer - not sure if Tarantino did it as a stylistic choice or the sound system was at fault)
The Curse Of La Llorona
Little (At the beginning of this trailer, the movie stopped playing and staff members went up to check everyone's tickets, which led to plenty of seat moving and a group of people getting kicked out )

Wow, that sounds really rough. I didn't have any experiences like that when theaters that I go to first got reserved seating. The Regal near me also got it recently, in fact. Reserved seating isn't that complicated, lol.

Theaters around here always seem to draw some more interesting crowds and I expect some commotion at horror movies in general but I think the fact that this theater has over 200 seats heightens the issue. Also the theater didn't seem prepared for the crowds it would draw - they only put it one one screen and they were supposedly still cleaning about 10 minutes before the showing.

For better or worse, a pretty standard indie horror flick. Looks like something fans of bleak slow burns like Hereditary, Oculus and It Comes at Night might enjoy.
