So it looks like a darker version of The Powerpuff Girls (and the McCracken years made for some fun television). Of course, the look of the main character will put off some people (though I imagine there's still time to make her less uncanny valley).

New trailer. Some of the action looks cool, but for some reason I'm getting a major Beowulf vibe from this, which is really turning me off.

The CGI is definitely part of it, but it's also the overly serious tone. Mahershala Ali and Christoph Waltz look like they're going to engage in a heated battle for 2018's most cringeworthy overacting crown
