Awful, pointless. A remake more like a prequel, but either way it looks pointless.

Pointless is the right word for it.

It looks like Whiteout and it'll probably gross as much in theaters.

Wow. Terrible. They didn't put effort in this didn't they? I think it will flop the box office and let Footloose take the top on it's release of October 14.

The Thing and Footloose look equally bad. Neither one will open in first.
