Trailer: Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

A Mission: Impossible movie that actually looks good?

Note: the trailer is dubbed into French but is easy to follow.

I like it so far. If it's as good as MI3, I'll love it. Also love the addition of Simon Pegg and Tom Wilkinson.

Interesting that Brad Bird is directing, as this is his first non-animated project. But I'm guessing he knows something about action, having helmed The Incredibles. And with J.J. Abrams producing, this could very well vie for the biggest hit of the winter season.

i'm just going to say 'meh'. The first three were decent but forgettable. i might see it eventually, but i wouldn't go out of my way to watch it.

This is a reboot and will not acknowledge the first three (other than having Ethan Hunt). Or so I read.

Was he? Hmm. I don't remember his role. Must not have been very prominent. I'll pay more attention this time.

And thanks for mentioning those other names, Boosh. It's good to see Nyqvist do something in English. He wowed me in the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, and I really hope that he (and Noomi Rapace) find fame on this side of the pond. (Note: this is NOT an invitation to continue the Dragon Tattoo remake discussion here, so if you're thinking about doing that, STOP!)

Yeah, he helped Cruise's character by phone to find his way in the streets of... where was it, Beijing, Shanghai ? He was a comic relief.
