I've heard this has gotten stellar reviews and is probably one of the best docs of the year. Although not a fan of the sport I've gotta say I'm weighing up whether to see it at the NZ International Film Festival next month.

It has an 8.8 rating on IMDB (after 2,700 votes) and it recently opened in sixth place in the UK despite being in less than 100 theatres. I think that Chien also saw it and loved it.

Yep, I saw it a couple of weeks ago, it's a great doc. I'm not a fan of F1 either, Surfer, but it's a very intense film. It manages to bring tension and emotion without being too heavy about it. I can only recommend it to you.
