So basically, it's 300 meets The Forbidden Kingdom. I also noticed that this is one of two films using the 11/11/11 gimmick (the other film is, you guessed, 11-11-11).

Not quite, Boosh, Jack and Jill is also scheduled for 11-11-11.

Pretty cool-looking. The first full-length trailer for a winter film to come out. I like Mickey Rourke as the bad guy. And I've been hearing about Henry Cavill, but I've never seen him in action. He looks like a cross between Gerard Butler and Orlando Bloom.

I meant gimmick as in "showing off the numbers and making a big deal out of it". Jack and Jill's trailer will probably just say November 11th.

looks great. I would say more 300 meets The Fall. Tarsem has a great visual eye, even though this looks slightly reminiscent of 300, his style definitely shines through. I would be surprised if this doesn't do 2012 numbers or even Clash of the Titans, as this looks much better that titans. As for Cavill, he is pretty good in the Tudors and he had a small part in count of monte cristo
